MCM Technology continues to meet Public Sector needs with release of our new Evidence Tracking Solution (ETS).
The MCM ETS is a stand-alone evidence management application, built from the ground up to help police, sheriff, and fire departments manage and maintain complete accountability of their Property and Evidence unit. This application is the perfect fit to replace obsolete single-task software packages and/or older mainframe / legacy evidence management systems.
- Be 100% accountable for the location (shelf / bin) of each evidence item
- Automatically track all transactions and history for each individual piece of evidence - chain of custody
- Application design allows for unlimited evidence items and subsequent line items
- User-defined supporting table design to allow customization relative to recording offense class, type, employee, event, case / complaint, arrest type, article category and weapon specification info.
- Powerful browse and query capability by invoice or article
- Built-in system application security and permissions
- Full reporting includes; ATF Trace Report, "ICE" Report, Case/Complaint Report, Instant
Invoice Print, Disposal Report & Transaction Report (sequence of events).
Optional features:
- Electronic Signature Capture pad(s) increase accountability for any transaction
- Bar code printers allow for proper tagging of evidence as it arrives
- Bar code scanner (plug-and-play) compatibiltiy simplifies the data entry process
- Optional Web Evidence Manager application to allow controlled access to the database by external users (officers / detectives or precincts) to view evidence information without calling the Property Room.
