MCM Technology, LLC Announces New CEO

Former Oracle Executive, Dan Catan, to Lead Company

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE…November 2, 2006... BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA, The Board of Managers of MCM Technology, LLC has announced the appointment of Daniel E. Catan as the new president and chief executive officer of the company. The company's founder and former chief executive officer, Patrick McMaster, continues to serve on the board of managers, but is stepping away from the company's day-to-day activities. Tom Bartels remains with the company as vice president of finance & operations, reporting to Mr. Catan.

Mr. Catan comes to MCM with a wealth of industry experience and a solid background in building sales and marketing departments and organizations in the enterprise software arena. Most recently, he was Director of Education and Government Sales with Oracle/PeopleSoft. Early in his career, he spent nearly 15 years in various sales positions at IBM. He later served in executive-level positions at several smaller, start-up software companies, one of which was taken public, and was subsequently acquired by a large enterprise software company.

Commenting on Dan's arrival, Pat McMaster stated, "Dan is the most qualified person I know to assume this position. I have known him for several years and know that he is, without question, the right person for this job. Not only is he is a good friend, but he is also a thoughtful and accomplished leader and I welcome him to the MCM team." Charles Clark, a member of MCM's board of managers added, "Mr. Catan is coming on board at a critical time in MCM's history, and we are looking forward his taking MCM to the next level.
